 We’re a medium-sized business providing Facilities Management and Building Services across Hertfordshire, London, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. We put our people first, resulting in a hardworking and skilled team who are committed to getting the job done right.  

Our culture is defined by our values, beliefs and behaviours. One Facility has a unique approach that builds lasting relationships with our clients, which we achieve by staying true to our values, and ultimately by delivering outstanding customer service.

Meet the Team

Simon O’Shea

Managing Director
Simon is our Managing Director. He’s been with us since the beginning, and he’s responsible for the inaugural award of our largest client, as well as multiple contract extensions over the years, resulting in an incredible client relationship spanning over 15 years. His focus is now on business development and evolving in line with our strategies and objectives, to drive growth based on our strong foundation - our rich service delivery ethic. Simon excels in identifying potential in our staff and providing opportunities for development that make our people the best fit for the job. His strategic mindset has been the driving force of our development, every step of the way. Outside of work, Simon can be found embracing his love for football, motorcycle trials riding, F1, and spending time with his family and pets.

Emily Slowe

Head of HR Department
Emily is the head of our HR department. Our company values – CARE – are Emily’s excellent work, and they just about sum her up. She’s been a part of One Facility for over a decade, and some would say she’s the backbone of our leadership team. She’s the authority on all things HR, from GDPR to employee engagement, and can usually be found working away in the HR office, except on Fridays, which she spends looking after her daughter. Emily has achieved a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management and Associate membership, with goals of working towards chartership. What she likes about One Facility is the culture, the way we look after our employees and the people that are part of that.

Nigel Watts

Soft Services Manager
Nigel is our Soft Services Manager. He’s an irreplaceable member of the team who, despite his busy schedule, always makes time for people and sees work through to the end. His laid-back nature makes staff and clients alike feel comfortable and reassured. He’s committed to getting the job done and often travels across the country to oversee that all our contracted works are running smoothly. Starting his career as a chef, he transferred his talents into Facilities, working across the Transport, Retail and Defence sectors since 2004. From his beginnings in the kitchen, his professional standards have carried through to providing the best service and quality to clients¸ winning awards and accreditations in Landscaping, Cleaning Services and Waste Management. Outside of work, Nigel is a football fanatic, travelling anywhere and everywhere to catch a game, and he’s recently picked up playing again, come rain or shine (or injury!)

Davina Morris

Safety, Health and Environmental Manager
Davina is our Safety, Health and Environmental Manager. As the newest member of our leadership team, she has only been with us since November 2021, but we cannot wait to see what she brings to the company. Throughout her career, Davina has worked in various industries, including Logistics & Warehousing, Defence and Construction. Her experience managing teams and projects, paired with her enthusiasm and can-do attitude make her a natural fit for our team, and we feel extremely lucky to have her. In Davina’s spare time she loves playing sports, her main hobby being field hockey; she has captained and coached for over 10 years for my local teams, gaining the nickname “Speedy D”. Like most, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She has a passion for food, cooking and most importantly – eating! Fun fact: She was once kidnapped by a monkey in Thailand.

Mark Healy

Contracts Manager
Mark is our Contracts Manager. Since joining us in 2008 as a multiskilled engineer, Mark has progressed to a key member of our leadership team. Despite a manic schedule, he’s always got time for a quick chat, and his approachable personality lends itself excellently to his role; managing client relationships. His success has given him the opportunity to manage his own office and team, which is running like a well-oiled machine only a year in the making. What Mark loves about working for One Facility is the flexibility, trust and teamwork that runs through the company, whether it be within the leadership team, the staff he manages or our clients. In his spare time, Mark is an avid football and snooker fan, but time at home with his family and dog just can’t be beaten.

Sarah Hyde

Accounts Manager
Sarah is our Accounts Manager. Sarah is responsible for introducing our fabulously successful cost management system, which has revolutionized the way we work and the reporting we provide to clients, a major milestone for the company. This is far from the only positive impact of the switch – it has allowed our financial management to go entirely paperless, helping to lessen our environmental impact. Integrating this change has been no small feat, but Sarah has worked tirelessly to ensure everyone has the understanding they need to excel. That’s what she likes about working here – the culture and everyone’s willingness to go above and beyond for each other and our clients. She’s currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant, which doesn’t leave much time for hobbies, so roll on June, when she’ll take her final exams! When she gets some free time, she enjoys doing her nails, getting lost in a good book, or walking her dogs, Loki and Amora.

Martin Coulbeck

Hard Services Manager
Martin is our Hard Services Manager. His illustrious career in FM means he brings tons of industry knowledge and experience to the table, which proves instrumental in our strategic approach. His day-to-day involves managing the Hard Services team and serving as the main point of contact in our largest contract, leading to a near-encyclopedic knowledge of our client and their operations. While he joined us amid the pandemic and the uncertainty that came with it, 18 months down the line he is confident that his choice to work with us has been the correct one, and he is excited to see what 2022 brings for the company. Outside of work, Martin is a happy husband and proud father of 3; a son, a daughter, and an adorable French bulldog. He enjoys family walks, pretending to play golf and the occasional light ale.

Our History

One Facility was established in 2005 with the specific goal to compete for Facilities Management contracts within the Defence sector. By 2006, we were awarded a major Hard Services contract with a multinational developer and manufacturer, which is still going strong to this day. Our original board of directors have remained through our steady year-on-year growth, and have taken great care to enrich, not dilute our company culture as we’ve grown, resulting in a motivated and hardworking team. As we grew, our service offering expanded into the Soft Services arena, culminating in a further major contract award in 2014. We are currently engaged by a wide array of clients across many sectors, delivering first-class services from Total Facilities Management contracts to bespoke FM plans and direct maintenance activities.
